#4 -- No photo or description can do these artichokes justice. If you've ever heard of Stuffed Artichoke Appetizers--chances are this recipe is what they were talking about. Don't let the anchovies scare you off. Dawn made me promise to use them, I do--and I'd never omit them. The anchovies truly disintegrate leaving only a special deliciousness behind. #5 -- Chicken With A Handle is otherwise known as chicken drumsticks. If your kids love KFC--they'll flip for this simple & economical version. #7 -- MaidRites are notorious in the Midwest. The not-as-tomatoey second cousin to the Sloppy Joe, MaidRites are fantastically delicious, easy on the budget, and cook in the crockpot-- all factors in making them winners for potlucks and family get-togethers. This is a recipe you'll find yourself coming back to time and time again. PS~ It freezes well too.

#8 --If you've ever had the famous Monte Cristo Sandwich at Disneyland's Blue Bayou restaurant inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about when I say this sandwich is worth the $24.00 they charge for it. But knowing I can make it at home and serve 6 for that same price, makes me love it even more.
A meal in itself, this is the Best. Sandwich. Ever.
