Sub Sandwich Salad

Would you like to find an easy salad that the whole family will enjoy? Look no further, here it is. This salad reminds me of my favorite sub sandwich--in fact--it's just like a sub sandwich, it even has the hoagie roll cubed up in it, crouton-style. We love it for picnics too.

~ serves 4

6 cups iceberg lettuce--torn up small
2 hard Deli rolls, cubed
1 medium tomato, diced
1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
2 ounces each: ham, turkey, salami, sliced into matchsticks
1/2 cup pepperoni, sliced into matchstick strips

DRESSING:
1/3 cup olive oil
2 Tablespoons white wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano or 1 teaspoon fresh, chopped
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Combine lettuce, rolls, tomato, onion, cheese, ham, turkey, salami, and pepperoni in a large bowl.
In a small jar--with tight fitting lid, combine oil, vinegar, oregano, salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Shake well to mix thoroughly.
Pour over salad and toss to coat well. Serve immediately.
