Edible Dragonflies

One of my friends made these clever snacks for a garden party she was having. The recipe is for 6 "dragonflies" but you can easily double or triple it for a bigger crowd, or to use them as centerpieces. They're actually as delicious as they are adorable. Check them out~!

8 ounces white candy coating, finely chopped
6 large pretzel sticks
Colored sugar
12 pretzels
12 large marshmallows

Line an ungreased baking sheet with waxed paper; set aside. Place candy coating in a shallow microwave-safe dish. Microwave at 30% power for 3-4 minutes or until melted, stirring every 30 seconds.

Coat sticks with candy coating. Place on prepared pan. Sprinkle with colored sugar. Freeze for 15 minutes or until firm.

If necessary, re-warm remaining candy coating.
Dip the pretzels in the coating; allow excess to drip off. Press two pretzels against each cookie, propping with the marshmallows. Immediately sprinkle with colored sugar. Let stand until set--about 40 minutes. Carefully remove dragonflies from waxed paper and marshmallows. (discard---uh--or eat--the marshmallows)

Makes 6 dragonflies.
