I know, I know--but I humor them with this recipe. It IS really good and it always takes me back to my childhood.
Check it out~
1/2 pound ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 Tablespoons chopped celery
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
2-1/4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
3/4 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
Brown meat. Drain. Add everything else and cook for 20 minutes. Serve on top of cooked hot dogs in buns.
Sauce for at least 6 hot dogs.
