Fried Kisses

I truly believe that people want to cook and bake. They may not always actually do it, but I have to believe if given the right recipe at the right time, they'll do it.
This is just such a recipe.
With three ingredients, all of which you can easily keep on hand, you may find this to be your "go to" recipe when you're caught by surprise and need a quickie dessert.
Be sure to seal your wontons completely, they're going to fry in oil and you don't want to lose any chocolate. The wontons are just as good cold as they are warm and will be fine to serve up to 3 hours after making. Take a look, it doesn't get much easier than this one!

24 milk chocolate kisses*
24 wonton wrappers**
Oil for frying
Powdered sugar

Put a chocolate kiss in the center of each wonton. Wet edges of wonton with water and fold opposite corners together over kisses. (see photo) Press to seal.

Fry 3 or 4 filled wontons in hot oil for about 2 to 3 minutes-or until lightly golden browned.
Drain on paper towels, then sift powdered sugar over top. Fantastic!!

*try using different flavored "kisses" for variety.
**find wonton skins in your markets refrigerated section, often by the cream cheese
