Filled Mocha Thumbprints

My mother-in-law hooked me up with these awesome cookies a few years ago. I still can't believe the base of them is frosting!
They're delicious and so easy, even your preschoolers can make them. They'll love crushing the graham crackers and rolling the balls.
This is also a wonderful summertime recipe, as there's no baking involved. Check them out...

1 can Pillsbury Chocolate Mocha Frosting Supreme

2 cups crushed graham crackers

¼ c. butter, softened—not melted

1 c. ground nuts hazelnuts

1-1/2 oz. cream cheese, softened

RESERVE ¼ c frosting.
IN a large bowl, combine remaining frosting, crackers crumbs, and butter. Blend.

SHAPE into balls (1 inch size). Immediately roll balls in nuts to coat.

WITH finger or end of wooden spoon, make an indentation in the center of each nut covered ball.

PLACE balls in 9 x 13 pan. In a small bowl, mix together remaining frosting and cream cheese until smooth. Spoon ¼ teaspoons into each indentation.

STORE in refrigerator. Makes about 3-1/2 dozen cookies.
