Movie Dip

Are you having a family game night this weekend? Or movie night? If so, or even if not, you should try this simple dip. It's hearty enough to please the guys and cheesy enough for the kids. No matter what you decide to dip in it, you're going to love it.

Take a look...

1 pound ground beef or turkey
1 small red onion, chopped tiny
Generous dashes of salt and pepper
1 pound Velveeta, cubed
1 bottle (8 oz.) taco sauce (mild or hot)
1/4 cup water
1 medium tomato, chopped
1 can Ortega green chilies, chopped (4 oz.)
1 can ripe olives, drained & chopped (2 oz.)
Tortilla chips, Fritos, corn chips, Ritz, Triscuts, whatever you like to dip

In a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook beef, onion, and salt/pepper until the meat is brown. Drain.
Add cheese, taco sauce and water. Stir until cheese melts. Stir in tomato, green chilies, and olives. Stir until hot throughout.
Serve warm with chips and a movie.

* You can double this recipe, & put it--once it’s fully done, into a crock pot and serve at a party for the perfect, warm & creamy temperature all night.
